For small businesses
For owner-operators and teams of two to ten vehicles: bring in your customer list, put each day's stops in the shortest order, and send every driver a link. No seats to count, nothing for drivers to install.
Free plan, no credit card. Works in any browser.

In short
EZRoutePlanner is a route planner for small businesses that drive to their customers, from owner-operators to teams with a few vehicles. You import your customer list, make a route per driver or per day, optimize each with one click, and share it as a link drivers open with no app. Pricing is per account, not per driver: free to start, paid plans from $20 a month.
The essentials
Six jobs, done well, cover most small teams that drive to customers. Here's how each one works in EZRoutePlanner.
Import the CSV or Excel export from your invoicing or job software. AI finds the address columns, and the customer name becomes each stop's label.
Optimize Route keeps your start fixed and reorders the rest. A round trip back to the shop is one switch.
Lasso an area on the map to make a route. Each gets its own color, out of 42, all on one map.
They open it in their phone's browser, see the stops in order and tap Navigate for Google Maps, Apple Maps or Waze.
An Address Book of 200 to 10,000 addresses on paid plans, searchable and filtered by route.
Print a PDF route sheet for the truck, or export CSV and Excel files with stop numbers and coordinates.
Sizing it
Start from how many customers you keep on file and how many vehicles go out. Plans differ in saved addresses and routes, never in drivers, and every plan optimizes, shares and exports.
| Your business | What usually matters | Plan that fits |
|---|---|---|
| Just you, a few stops some days | Getting the order right and opening it in Google Maps | Free: routes of 30 stops, 30 saved addresses |
| Owner-operator with regular customers | Every customer saved, a route for each weekday | Starter, $20/mo: 200 addresses, unlimited routes |
| 2–5 vehicles | A route per driver, on their phone by morning | Standard, $40/mo: 1,000 addresses |
| 6–10 vehicles or a big customer base | Many customers and many routes on one map | Professional ($80/mo) or Enterprise ($200/mo): up to 10,000 addresses |
| A dispatch desk with booked time slots | Time windows, live tracking, proof of delivery | Fleet or field service software, not EZRoutePlanner |
Prices are per month for the whole account, however many drivers you have; billing every 6 months takes 25% off. Every paid plan allows up to 200 stops per route. Full details on pricing.
Several drivers
Put every customer on one map, draw around each driver's area, and choose Create Route. Optimize each route from your base, then share each one with its driver. You decide the split: EZRoutePlanner doesn't divide stops between drivers automatically or balance their workloads, which suits teams where you already know who covers which side of town.

Bases
Yes. Save your shop, yard or depot as a base and routes start there. Turn on Round Trip to finish back at it, or pin a final stop, like the supply house, so it stays last. A route can also start from any address, which helps when a tech heads out from home.
What a better order is worth
It depends on how scrambled the list is to begin with. Across our 48 example routes of 7–12 stops on real roads in 24 cities, putting the stops in optimized order cut the distance by a median 39% compared with a random listed order.
Put your mileage, fuel price and wages into the route cost calculator to see what a shorter route is worth over a year.
Time not spent between stops is time on site. Fewer wasted miles can mean one more visit a day, not just a cheaper one.
Fewer miles means fewer oil changes, tires and brake jobs across the fleet, on top of the fuel.
An honest fit
EZRoutePlanner suits businesses where one person plans the day from a customer list: lawn care crews, pest control routes, plumbers with a board of service calls, couriers and cleaners, reps and mobile techs. It plans and optimizes the driving, and gets each route onto the right phone.
It isn't a dispatch or field service suite. There are no time windows or appointment slots, no recurring schedule or calendar, no live traffic in the optimization, no vehicle capacity, and no automatic splitting of stops between drivers. On the road there's no GPS tracking, no proof of delivery photos or signatures, and no customer text alerts or ETAs.
Plenty of small businesses pair it with what they already use: invoicing or job software for the customer side, a spreadsheet as the master list, EZRoutePlanner for the driving. If you need all of it in one system, fleet or field service software is the better buy. Those tools are commonly priced per driver or per user each month, so price them for the team you'll have next year.
Pricing
No trial clock and no credit card. Drivers open route links, so they don't need accounts or seats. Paid plans are billed monthly or every 6 months, and you can change or cancel any time.

The one that fits how you work. With a customer list and a few vehicles, you need spreadsheet import, real optimization and a way to get routes onto drivers' phones, and per-account pricing keeps the cost flat as you hire. If you need scheduling, live tracking and proof of delivery, look at field service or fleet software instead.
EZRoutePlanner's free plan costs nothing and has no time limit: routes of up to 30 stops and 30 saved addresses. Paid plans start at $20 a month for the whole account, or 25% less billed every 6 months. Many route tools charge per driver each month instead, which grows with every hire.
No. You pay one price for the account. Drivers open the route links you send them in their phone's browser, so they don't need accounts, seats or an app.
There's no driver or vehicle limit. Paid plans have unlimited routes of up to 200 stops each; what changes between plans is how many addresses you keep saved, from 200 to 10,000. It works best for teams of up to about ten vehicles planned by one person.
No. There's no calendar, recurring schedule or time windows. Many service businesses keep one saved route per weekday and reuse it, re-optimizing when they add or lose a customer. See how to plan weekly service routes.
No. There's no GPS tracking, proof of delivery or customer text alerts. If you need those, fleet or delivery management software is built around them.
There's a free plan instead, with no time limit and no credit card. Use it with your real customers, and upgrade when you need more saved addresses or several routes at once.
Yes. Cleaners, lawn crews, pest control techs, plumbers and sales reps use it the same way: a customer list in, a day's visits in order. Time spent at each stop isn't part of the optimization, so decide how many visits fit in a day before you build the route.
There's no direct connection. Export your customers from that software as CSV or Excel and import the file. When the list changes, import it again: customers you've already saved are skipped.
