The short answer

Map My Customers suits field sales teams of five or more that want a CRM-synced platform; EZRoutePlanner suits anyone who only needs optimized routes. As of October 2026, Map My Customers has no free plan or self-serve trial and starts at $99 per user a month, paid yearly, with a 5-user minimum: about $5,940 a year. Its routes hold up to 69 stops. EZRoutePlanner is free for 30 addresses and 30 stops a route, and paid plans start at $20 a month.

Choose Map My Customers if

  • you manage five or more outside reps and want their activity synced both ways with Salesforce, HubSpot, Dynamics or Zoho
  • you want territories, Lead Finder, dashboards and rep coaching in the same tool as the routes
  • your reps route around booked appointments (anchor stops on Enterprise)
  • your buyers or IT team require SOC 2 Type II, a HIPAA agreement or SSO

Choose EZRoutePlanner if

  • you're one rep or a small team and can't commit to five seats for a year
  • you want to sign up and plan a route today, without booking a demo
  • some of your routes run past 69 stops
  • one person plans, and everyone else just needs the route on their phone

01

Map My Customers pricing: five seats, a year up front

Map My Customers sells three plans. Each is priced per user per month, paid yearly, and each has a minimum number of users:

  • Industry Leader: $99 a user, minimum 5 users. The smallest possible purchase is about $5,940 a year.
  • Enterprise: $139 a user, minimum 10 users, so about $16,680 a year at the minimum. This is the plan with Advanced Routing (anchor stops and live-traffic ETAs) and the mileage tracker.
  • Field Intelligence: $199 a user, minimum 35 users, about $83,580 a year at the minimum.

Plans run on a 12-month commitment. You can upgrade during the term; downgrades wait for the renewal. There's no free plan and no self-serve trial: the pricing page offers "Book a Demo" or "Contact Us". Registered nonprofits get 25% off, and multi-year deals or more seats bring the per-seat price down.

EZRoutePlanner has no seats, no minimum and no contract. You sign up with Google or email, start on the free plan, and move to a paid plan from $20 a month when your list outgrows 30 addresses.

03

Who Map My Customers is built for now

Map My Customers calls itself an execution platform for outside sales. It's aimed at mid-size field teams in medical devices, manufacturing, distribution, building materials and consumer goods. Its newest features are AI and manager tools: an AI Field Agent that turns a rep's voice debriefs into follow-up drafts, Field View, which replays a rep's day on the map, and Exec HQ, which writes weekly summaries for leadership. It's SOC 2 Type II certified and signs HIPAA business associate agreements. Reps rate the app 4.2 on the App Store (471 ratings) and 3.8 on Google Play (150 ratings).

That's a sensible product for a 20-rep team with a sales operations lead. It isn't sold to a single rep, a contractor with a van, or an owner who sends three routes each morning, and the seat minimums say so plainly.

EZRoutePlanner sits at the other end. It has no CRM, territories, check-ins or lead finder. It takes a list of addresses, puts each route in the shortest order, and gets the route onto a phone. If that's the whole job, a field sales platform is more than you need.

The verdict: a platform for sales teams, or a route planner for anyone

Map My Customers has become a platform for running field sales teams, and it prices like one: five seats, a year up front, a demo first. For a team that will use the CRM sync, territories and coaching tools, that can be money well spent.

For one rep, a small team, or anyone whose real need is the route itself, it's far more than the job requires. EZRoutePlanner plans the same kind of routes, up to 200 stops each, on a free plan or from $20 a month.

  • Sales leader with 10+ reps on Salesforce

    Map My Customers

CRM sync, territories, Field View and coaching in one place, with anchor stops on Enterprise.

  • One rep, paying personally

    EZRoutePlanner

600 accounts on Standard for $40/mo, instead of a 5-seat yearly contract.

  • Small team with one person planning

    EZRoutePlanner

One account, a route per rep, and a link each rep opens on their phone.

  • Regulated buyer that needs HIPAA and SSO

    Map My Customers

SOC 2 Type II and HIPAA on every plan, and SSO with SAML on Enterprise.

Questions people ask about Map My Customers

Does Map My Customers have a free trial?

No self-serve trial is advertised. As of October 2026, Map My Customers' pricing page offers "Book a Demo" or "Contact Us", with no free plan and no trial sign-up. If you want to try route planning today, EZRoutePlanner has a free plan (30 addresses, 30 stops a route) that needs no credit card.

Can one person buy Map My Customers?

Not as a single seat. The smallest plan, Industry Leader, has a 5-user minimum at $99 per user a month, paid yearly, which comes to about $5,940 a year as of October 2026. The individual plans that older review sites mention, at $50 to $60 a month, are no longer on Map My Customers' pricing page.

How many stops can Map My Customers route?

Up to 69 stops per route, according to Map My Customers' Advanced Routing page; the pricing page doesn't list a different cap by plan. Each rep plans their own routes in the app, so it isn't a fleet optimizer that splits stops across drivers. EZRoutePlanner takes up to 200 stops a route on paid plans.

Is Map My Customers month to month?

No. Plans are based on a 12-month commitment and paid annually. You can upgrade during the term and get the new features right away; downgrades take effect at your annual renewal. EZRoutePlanner bills monthly, or every 6 months with 25% off, and has a free plan.

Is Map My Customers cheaper than Badger Maps?

Not for small teams. Badger Maps Business is $58 per user a month billed yearly, or $69 monthly, with no seat minimum, so one rep can buy one seat. Map My Customers starts at $99 per user with a 5-user minimum, paid yearly. For larger teams, compare the features in Badger Maps vs Map My Customers.

Does Map My Customers work with Salesforce and HubSpot?

Yes. Every plan includes two-way sync with Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics and Zoho, and Enterprise adds NetSuite and an open API. EZRoutePlanner has no CRM integrations: you'd export accounts from your CRM as a CSV or Excel file and import them to plan routes.

What's a simpler alternative to Map My Customers for route planning?

EZRoutePlanner, if routes are what you need. It's self-serve and free for 30 addresses, with paid plans from $20 a month by saved addresses and no per-user fee. You paste or import your accounts, optimize each route in one click, and send it to a phone as a link. It has no CRM sync, territories or check-ins.
